    KNITTED SWEATERS

    • I use Baby Softee yarn, and the label indicates that it is machine washable ineither warm or cold water and can be machine dried.

That said, I recommend washing finished items on a delicate cycle and, if possible, air drying them to help maintain their shape and appearance.

If you prefer to use a dryer, be sure to select a low-heat or delicate setting. High heat can be harsh on acrylic yarn and may cause it to melt, shrink, or become misshapen. Placing the item in a pillowcase or mesh laundry bag can provide extra protection during the drying process.

Keep in mind that washing machines and dryers can vary, so results may differ depending on the appliance used.
